    Anyone here have access to a 3D printer or a CNC machine?

    I have a project I'm working on, and I need some small parts made. I'd also like to build a small CNC machine and a small 3D printer, and having access to a mill would make life that much easier.

    I'm in Bellingham, but I'm happy to come down to Seattle, or Portland, or farther. And I can bring lots and lots of good beer. My girlfriend works at Pyramid Brewery, so I can get the stuff by the truck load if I want.

              I actually just heard about this business up in Capitol Hill that is essentially an open workspace for people that need to use heavy duty machines such as that. They sell all the materials and such you would need for a CNC or 3D printer as well. Can't quite recall the name, but if you can't find anyone on here I'd try looking that up.

                  I wish there was something like that around me! Very cool stuff.

                  On a side not, I know that member Jaywood has access to CNC routing tools. Not 100% sure of what size router he's working with or what materials he can support, but wouldn't hurt to give him a message I'm sure! I've dealt with him a few times and each time has been a pleasure.

                      dont know if this is what your referring to but Seattle is listed as a future location for Techshop ,which is a really cool idea gives the inventor type access to some really nice tools according to the website(lathes ,mills 3D printers.....), a bit pricey but probably worth it if you do a lots of inventing/prototyping/development work on the side
