well i suggest, if we do go driving that we go to crown point, a bit of a drive but well worth it, plus it ends up at multnomah falls perfect conclusion IMO

I dont know about you josh, but after driving 4 hours over there and then going on a drive, then having to drive another 4 hours home, It sounds a good idea gone bad for the commuters. We're already driving 8 hours, lets take some time to look at the cars rather then look at them from the rear or in our mirrors.

A little update and added bonus for you guys. Lance Reichert, the organizer of the annual PNW E30 Picnic, has donated 12 DVD's of the 1990 DTM series, highlighting the exploits of the E30 M3 and the 190E 16V during one of the most exciting times in touring car racing history. These DVD's usually retail for $10 each, but will be given away FREE to the first 6 190E owners and the first 6 E30 owners that arrive at the meet.

Here's some details on the DVD:

1990 DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen-Meisterschaft): Year in Review
100 min. English Narration

In 1990 factory backing is taken to the next level as Audi join the DTM mix against factory backed teams from BMW, Mercedes, Opel and Toyota. 1990 saw Mercedes and BMW are in full Evo mode, adding their Evo parts to the 190E and E30 M3 in order to gain incremental advantages on track. The result is very close racing, with the championship coming down to the last race weekend. This is the first year for English narration for these DTM YIR recordings, so we finally get to understand what is being said! Just as the quality of the cars improves, so does the quality of the video production. More in-car, more info about the cars, etc. Soper, Winkelhock, Cecotto, Ravaglia are all there for BMW, as is Deiter Quester finishing a race at the Avus/Berlin track (in the points) on his roof! Clown Prince Hans Stuck also enters the series, with the cameras following him around for some of his off-track pranks. The DTM is in high gear in 1990, with huge crowds at the German tracks taking in the action. The German spectators were not disappointed and neither will any E30 or 190E owner with this classic recording.

I have officially got the 29th off from work so count me in. I will drive my 87 and i will probably have my roomate drive my newly accquired 85 323i. 2 e30s coming with me, ian in his e34 m20, i just sold the IX to cord, he will hopefully come and 2 audis both 2000s A4 1.8t, A6 2.7TT. count on all of us, i'm still convincing more people, this should be fun stuff. Anyone have an e21? i'm clearing out the garage could bring some things, 5 13x6 BBS kumho victoracers on 4, euro rear bumper, 323i exhuast, e21 m20 front subframe, rear subframe with discs all polyurethane bushings long wheel studs minus diff.
