    Not mine: 1986 325es

Oh, and it's cars like this that helped justify my asking price on my old S50 car I sold.

I was talking about the asking price. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

I don't care how long you store a car, his has more miles than my car did (125,000) and engine had 57,000. My car was in storage for 4 years if that means anything but to be honest I don't think it does.

Storage would freak me out his asking is meh just like yours. In the end someone will pay what they feel its worth to them

I'm still not sure that I need to say this, but I think I do.

Storing cars for years is a really easy way to fuck them up. Even if you store a car correctly, there's still always the possibility of failed rubber, hydraulics, etc.

Cars are meant to be driven. I'd much rather know that a car hasn't stopped being regularly used since it was made than hearing that it's been dying the slow death in some asshole's garage for the last decade.

They call it the slow death for a reason. It takes a long time for those systems to deteriorate and as long as the car was properly stored, there should be limited issues.

Looks nice, seems a bit high, even if it's as good as it looks from 10 ft.

They're getting harder to find up here.
