Got an instrument cluster with a working tachometer?

If your tach died you probably need a SI board/batteries

Thanks, but we already checked and fixed that. Made a little hack so that we can replace the batteries without having to take the cluster out all over again. I have a spare instrument cluster with a working tachometer which works with my car, but it's a different design. I don't want to replace the whole cluster, I just want to swap out the tachometers.

I think I grabbed Austin's last cluster because I am going to send my cluster in to these guys to be redone, and run his spare VDO cluster until I get mine back. Not sure if you DD your car but you could send in your gauges to be fully restored or do what I am doing and use a 2nd set temporarily

We just figured out that I have the exact same problem as they describe on their website. Someone used the wrong screws when mounting the cluster, so it damaged the corners of the SI board.

Let's start by identifying the different types and versions of the SI board. Through the entire E30 generation, there are four versions of the board. 1982-1986 early model board with NiCd batteries...

I need good mechanicals for my vert front seats. I think my issue are the struts/shocks. Able to part them seeing the leather is no bueno?

These aren't any good either, IIRC.
