I was just up in anacortes picking up an 3.46 LSD from BlapBlap.

I picked mine up for $2700. But I had the somewhat sketchy story of picking my car. But the guy wasn't sketchy. And the car was still a wa licensed car so no state title transfer. But it's in my name and all good.

It does pay off but my car does have it's own list of issues. Which I will cure. And with my knowledge of our cars I could have gotten a better one.

Everyone has budgets to work with, and we don't see many late model E30's in the yards around here.

Unlike the situation that seems to exist down in Cali. Or am I just getting the wrong "read" from all the cool stuff that seems to get "mined" from the u-picks down there?

Never even once in the last 5 years have I scored an IS lip at the pick-a-part. Not even an I lip. So it's def overrated.
I destroyed 3 lips in 3 years and I had to buy them new every time.
But I get what you are saying, not everyone has the budget for it. Totally normal.

I was pretty fortunate and found mine on CL when a guy was getting out of E30's. I was down in the Everett area on some other business and met up with him, basically bought all his hoard of leftovers.

Spotted a new e30 in town. Saw yesterday near 32nd and M. I believe it's an 84 318 based on the color.it was light yellow with some high schooler behind the wheel
