WTB: e30 M3 front/rear seats; g260

Hey R3v'ers,

Update: e30 front seats and g260 acquired... still looking for

e30 M3 rear seats in any condition. I'll be re-upholstering them myself. Looking to make the track car street comfortable with children again...

Why not get standard E30 sport seats and reupholster to with the seams going in the same direction as the M3 seats? Also, the vert seats are the same as the M3.

Finding vert or m3 rears are still few and far between. If you know of any available locally, let me know. I have been looking for both.



Fronts: doesn't matter. Condition of the mechanicals are more important than anything. Again, if you know of fronts that aren't trashed mechanically, point in my direction. I'm less worried about finding these.

Just read over on s14 that vert seats are 2inch narrower than m3 rear seats. So, narrowing search just for e30 m3 rear seat.

I have a PERFECT rear seat from a vert. I sold the leathers in it so it's really the structure and the foam, but it's mint. I can take pics if you're interested. I will also ship it anywhere in the continental US on your dime.

I don't have a specific budget. I buy things based on not paying over how much I think it's worth. Budget is rarely the problem since I'm into M cars and not Ferrari's. I'm on the hunt for a seat. If you know of one, I'm eager to hear about it. Please let me know.

The vert seat is about 2" shorter from side to side than the M3 seats. So, I'm going to wait until I find original M3 seats.

You're correct but if you're going to re-upholster it then you can add the 2" of foam and Dave yourself $$$ between the price difference of the vert vs M3 seats.
