    Help!!

So my e30 wouldn't start and I decided to jump it. Drove my moms car hooked up jumper cable started my moms car. Went to start my car and nothing happened. No lights turned on on my speedometer. Jumped out of my car looked at my cables and they were smoking. Jumper cables fried. No my car won't crank or my starter doesn't even make a little whirring noise. Any help would be appreciated

Pretty sure you connected the cables wrong.

Almost 95% sure you connected them wrong. Happened to me too when I was in a hurry.

They shouldn't smoke or fry ever of you connect them correctly.

Maybe some weird battery science I don't know of.

From experience, they smoke and fry if you connect them wrong.

Just make sure you are actually connecting the plus to the plus on both.

Then the minus on the good car and the minus clamp on your car should connect to not the battery but something metal in your engine bay.

For all those people who find it more convenient to bother you with their question rather than to Google it for themselves.

                              You connected it wrong.

Go youtube it and follow step by step from your phone. And pay very close attention to make sure plus lands on plus. I made the mistake too. But I saved my cables in time.
