    Repost for ze locals.

    http://youtu.be/g2HMcGPxHuU

... let me know what you guys think. I've exhausted my knowledge on what to look at/for.

There's two areas of concern for me:

    1. The squeak. You can hear it right as throttle is applied. Worse from the gas peddle as it's a bit smoother than pulling the throttle cable.

    2. The really rough running/idle and wanting to croak. It runs perfectly when you first start it beyond the squeal when you give it throttle and first start up.

I've replaced the MAF, the boot, all of the mess under the intake, new HG, new plugs, new wires, new water pump, new intake gaskets, ICV's good, new belts all around (and tightened them appropriately), new timing chain tensioner, sprockets look great (as in nearly new), chain was perfect. I'm at a loss.

Also, made sure the obnoxious cat/no cat wire was unplugged.

Any ideas at all, please share 'em. I'm pretty tired of getting 9mpg in my '95 F150 going to to and from work

Thanks in advance for your time.

Can you get a video of you playing with the throttle to see how it behaves when it chokes?

Ever had the injectors cleaned or inspected? I can't quite put my finger on that quiet chirruping noise

Yeah, it's really throwing me off.

I'll see about getting a video of it dying out.

My truck makes the same chirping noise and has been for two years. I doubt it has anything to do with the rough idle.

Swapped ICV's. Fixed the rough/bad idle.

Still a bit of a hesitation on throttle and the little chirp. No idea what the hell that chirp is but I'll just ignore it? ;)

I think that's the only real solution. Test drove it sideways around a new development with only roads and no houses. Was a fun little romp for the first time in 3 years.

The squeak sounds like a bearing on one of the pulleys, maybe the alternator.

For future reference, your car has an air flow meter (afm), not a maf.

                              ^ Pretty much.

Still don't have this thing running reliably. Take shit apart and put it together? Boom, runs like a dream. No issues at all. The next day when I get the balls to run around and get it registered? Won't make it to the end of the street. I'm already looking at dropping new sensors all around on it. Coolant, CPS, etc. TPS is fine. AFM is fine as far as I can tell. ICV seems to be working just like the little bitch it is.

Heh, I'm $500 into this thing (not including what I owe Tom for the winter wheels) and I still don't have it in my name, heh.
