I'd like to since while I'm in there. Most of the parts are already in my garage or being ordered, since if I can't find a place to get it done at less than a grand I'm going to end up doing what others have suggested and doing it piece by piece as I find the time.

I'd do everything you can to strip the shit out of the parts car, sell the parts you don't want to keep/use and get a scrapper to buy the chassis from you and then focus on fixing your car. If you're running out of space consider getting a storage unit for a month or two.

The subframe and T/A bushings are much easier to do if you can install everything on a second subframe and have it ready to put on the car and do the guibo at the same time. That will make it a Saturday job and give you a bit of leeway in case something goes wrong.

If you need to do control arms/CABs/tie rods that would be easy to do on another weekend (and you'll need an alignment after doing so).
So the deal with the parts car is that I was in a wreck and wanted a few things off for myself, then I was going to sell it complete and be done with it. When I went to pick it up from Copart, the guy that was supposed to meet me flaked and I couldn't find another buyer. At that point I'd already completed the owner buyback paperwork and it was too late to get the rest from my insurance company, so I figured I would keep it around and do what I could to make up the difference (which I have at this point).

Ultimately, all I want now is to get the under-car parts off to do exactly what some others have suggested as far as getting subframe bushings put on my second subframe and then swapping it over - but that again gets into whether or not I can remove all of that stuff and still be able to roll my parts car onto a trailer.

Any clear answers? I'm asking if I can remove the rear subframe and still roll the car.

Yes, the scrapper can take the car w/o wheels or any sort of suspension (these guys will pull shit out of a muddy field for money).

On my last parts car I had it resting on a pair of composite plastic dollies from harbor freight and the guy didn't even care, he just dragged the dumb thing off the dolly and onto the flatbed and left.

Awesome - yea, title is in hand so no concerns there. Some of the body is chopped up but ultimately it's there. We'll see what I can get, still need to finish pulling some of the parts.
