    Poor running 325i

Ok , I need some help here. I recently solved a intermittent start for a customer that turned out to be a sloppy connector at the fuel pump.
While with me I replaced the blue two terminal coolant sensor that had a bad connector on it with a used one I had laying around. Car ran fine, sent him away happy. Now three days later, car will start ok, but runs poorly when given any throttle. Disconnect the AFM and it runs better. Swapped a known good AFM in and no improvement. Car will pop and sputter and back fire with connected AFM and no pops or backfire disconnected. Has anyone seen this behaviour before? Other than the swapped temp sensor and cleaning the injectors at c191(?) the round plug under the throttle body, I didn't change much to solve the no start. Bad used temp sensor?, Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks

Does the car have an aftermarket intake?

No , bone stock, leaning strongly toward the Coolant temp sensor at the moment, replacing this morning.

Turned out to be the cap and rotor of all things.Put my timing light on it and went from plug wire to plug wire and got a few missing signals on a few cylinders. New cap and rotor solved it. Patrick Oneill and I both thought it was a fuel issue. Glad to have it solved and give the car back to the owner.

Lucky you, the car I was working on had a handful of surprises. The owner left the hood off over night, rained all night...also had an oreily cap, rotor and cps with some non gapped autolites.

Cap was cracked down the middle, rotor was chipping apart and the cps was pulling 900 ohms. Not sure how it even ran, still runs like poo. Checking things off the list lol
