Anyone bought seats from this guy?

    http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/pts/4915396663.html

Planning to finally make my interior somewhat nice. Texted this guy and he can make some costume seats for, i would say, decent price for pretty much new seats. I'm wondering if anyone on here have bought them and if the quality is good.

Just from the pictures it doesn't look like the leather fits very well.

Some of those pics look a bit wrinkly for the price. Have you read about ninestitch here on the forum?

Checked out ninestitch and im definitely emailing them. Work looks nice, and from the pricing on the site it might even be cheaper. Thanks for the links

Doesn't look like that guy uses new foam when he installs the covers. Meh. Would not buy.

Don't buy!! I had a friend buy and all he does is put fake shitty leather on the bolsters, doesn't even change the seat bottoms or back. That and all the mechanics were messed up. He never answered any calls about them either when my buddy was trying to figure out why he ripped him off so bad.

yea, horrible fit. My dad use to do upholstery when i was a kid. I Use to cut stitches and trace out patterns for him.

That being said, Ive seen good and bad. And thats definitely a novice making those seat covers

I bet he just buys the shitty eBay covers and installs them. They look like shit though. I just installed a set for a customer (one of the nicer sets of eBay covers) and they're really not that bad. You just have to take your time on the install and they fit alright.

Here's my $ 450 job, (front and rears) from local shop.,

not perfect but good enough for price., she'll get wet suits, sand and salt 2 or 3 times a week., besides, loose might help slowdown shrinking from sun.

cloth centers, synthetic bolsters, headrest's, heaters reinstalled., fronts should be done today, I hope.

                    Rear's have 2x 12" hollow areas.

Those look like shit. And I looked through the gallery on ninestitch website, and although it's better than what's in the CL ad, honestly it doesn't look all that great either. I wouldn't go with either of them.

I actually bought a set from ninestitch and I would disagree. I'm starting the install on my seats and will post up pictures when I am finished. The quality though appears very good with these that I bought.

Perhaps you should give the ninestitch owner a call?

I wish someone would do the alcantara m hurricane pattern :( I would buy a ton of that. After recovering a set of seats for someone else, I MUST do mine now.
