    Need ASAP! Flywheel/PP bolts

Need this for my swap. Anyone have some spare ones lying around? Need m20 single mass flywheel bolts, the spring plate/washer for the bolts, and the pressure plate allen bolts.

    Anyone?

I bet the dealer has them. Mine did when I ended up being short.

I've got spares for days but they're up in my garage in Bothell.

Werd...but they quoted me a GRIP for everything I need. But at least they can get them by next week. Just seeing if I can source some today so I can swap my car this weekend as I had planned.

How close to Pdx are you? The pp to flywheel bolts I got locally from my euro parts dealer. Bartosh in vancouver.

do you have a fastenall in your area? get the specs for the bolts and ask them for a 12.9 version of them for the flywheel, 10.9 for the PP and you'll be good to go

I usually have good luck at Ace Hardware, but I don't know that they will have the grade required for the PP. As mentioned already, Fastenall is probably your best bet, but it looks like the closest one is in Sherwood, OR.

Thanks for the replies. I think there's a Fastenal in Salem. I did a bit of searching and found that the length for the flywheel bolts are 28mm. However, I can't seem to find the length for the PP bolts. Anyone have ONE around they might be able to measure for me?

Most importantly now, I still need the washer plate for the flywheel bolts.

I just called them and they can get both sets of bolts within a couple of hours within a reasonable time frame (a few hours). However, they can't source the damn washer plate :/

You don't *have* to run the shim, just get 5mm shorter shank bolts than the factory calls for (to compensate for the missing shim). I think they are 12x1.5x35mm normally, so get 30mm. IIRC, at least. It's been a little while since I had to buy them new.

Yeah, I may not "have" to run it but I'd like to. Thanks for the info Austin.

Bad experience with these? Luckily, the place SketchyRex recommended has them at a much more affordable rate than the stealership.

please explain the difference between a 12.9 class bolt from fastenall, a company that specializes in industrial grade fasteners, vs a 12.9 class bolt from BMW

hint - there is none. there's kind of a difference between places like fastenall and ace hardware ;)

                              BMW doesn't sell counterfeit fasteners.

                              Fastenall doesn't give a shit.
