It's in one of the pictures above. It looks ok but I found that it's basically impossible to take the seal off and on so I just ran the vinyl to the edge of the trim and cut it. Would look cleaner if I was able to wrap down around the edges and then pull the seal over but oh well.
Awesome work! I like the color, and the seams look like they blend in well.
The more wrap success stories I see, the more I think I am going to try this next time I need bodywork done.
Right?!
That really does look good McD. Especially when compared to what a first time DIY paint job could look like (and cost).

Looking good. All the photos from when I wrapped mine are in this album. I'm certainly not a pro but to do an e30 with no seams would waste a ton of vinyl. I made mine in similar places to yours it looks like. If you make the overlap small, the seems pretty much disappear.

I had no problem removing my sunroof. Any time you just cut the edge it will eventually become a problem and peel back...
Vinyl wrapping is one of those things you shouldn't rush. So I don't recommend it to a newbie who can't devote some serious blocks of time to just relax and get in to it. IF you can afford the time, the reward is good results like the OP!
