I couldn't pass it up at 8400. It has 154k and dinan intake and exhaust installed at birth. Po installed bilstein suspension besides that it is stock. I can't believe i got full coverage for 132 a month. Stoked.

        Is it Oxford or Schwarz?

Regardless; an e39 M5 is definitely one of my bucket list cars. At $8400 that is a criminally-certified steal. Congrats man; I know I would be stoked!

I almost pulled the trigger at a similar price but at that mileage you are basically guaranteed another 3k+ in maintenance and so I shied off. Still kinda regret it though.

Well yes, the timing guide refresh will run you an easy $2k on top of your asking price, but if he got it at $8400 with all the maintenence done, that's a bargain

It's really that much to replace the timing chains?

He had been nursing a ripped shoulder from a mc injury for the last year and a half. Right arm can't shift in a sling. After that long in the garage he cut her loose. It came on at 11 originally. Thanks I am proud of the find.

In parts alone you're looking at 700-1500. $2k with labor doesn't sound bad at all its a fairly involved job.

Congrats. I've had my M5 for a year and a half and I love it.
