    My auction score

Just won this bad boy at an auction for $70 hahah, I put in the bid not thinking I was gonna win, but no one else placed a bid.
1980 Volvo 264gl(264 usually had 6 cylinders but in 80-81 they offered them with the 4 cylinder)
the cool think is 264s have a hydraulic clutch, vs all 240s have cable, so the plan is to toss a M50 in it at some point and will be able to use the BMW transmission. Also talking to a Volvo nut that come in to my work a lot, late model cars that came with a true 5 speed use the same guibo as a e30(not sure which size)

Also I can get adapters to put BMW wheels on it for $150 so essentially I'll be building a BMW out of this Volvo

Fun! Also curious which auction. Interior seems to be in decent shape.

I was using Copart, but they screwed me in Washington (Sold me a Salvage title car without noting it on the auction..)

Most of the stuff I have picked up has been through Speeds, but I did get a couple good scores at Copart Portland.

There is a ton of good info about swapping LS motors in those as well..

I haven't bought anything from speeds yet, but I do check the list weekly, its just hard they want it off there lot next day, Copart I got 3-4 days.
My only complaint with copart so far is the last e34 I bought was my first time buying from them and it didn't say on their site you needed to be there before 4:45, just that they close at 5pm. well my tow showed up at 4:47 and they said tough tit.

luckily my guy talked to someone else outside and they grabbed it

LS would be super fun, but m50s are getting so cheap. there are pictures of a couple out there, no write-ups though so it will be an adventure

drove a 240DL wagon and sedan, not a bad car when maintained to be honest. Seats are comfy as fuck, and rear works as a bed if caught in weather or hotels were full if i was out of town working
