Not car related but.possibly moving to PDX

So this isn't e30 related but figured I should try. My company may be moving me to PDX and I know ZERO about the areas of town. Anyone have any suggestions in regards to where to look for a rental house/apartment or good areas to look into?

If it happens it's going to move very quickly so doing my research ahead of time!

Oregon, more specifically portland is shit, we cant stand Californians moving here...

i guess if you are going to rent, do vancouver across the river, do not live in portland, cant remember the last time i saw people getting wheels jacked or a car keyed here.

          but were sorta full already

Yeah the amount of cali people here is getting pretty crazy. Like Matt said, Vancouver, its a hell of a lot cheaper than Portland for renting.
And its not that bad of a drive to Portland, just do all your shopping in Oregon
