Hey guys! any help would be great. I am going to jump back into this tomorrow morning (saturday). I worked on this for multiple hours today with Curt and Typhong_e30, unfortunatly we had a little problem with time, money, bitches, and parentals.

Specifically, This suspension in the e30 trash suspension from hell!

Ask anybody who has tried to help me do ANYTHING with it!

The front end is a bitch, the tierods and control arms will not fall out, i got one today after working on it for 2 HOURS!!!!

Trust me we have tried almost everything, besides using a pickle fork or a tie rod dropper thingy.

1) have you ever been to a late night drag?

2) If you have you obviously can see that there numberous cars there NOT DRAGING.

I wanted some people to show out there with some e30's kinda like a small meet.

Oh and by the way, i actually like looking at nice cars other than e30's with huge dubs.

The front control arms are strong, If you hit them with a 5lb sledge in the thickest part right next to the main bushing it wont damage them at all, and should pull the metal threaded part out of the front subframe, its really straightforward im suprised you guys are having such a hard time. As for destroying things, I leave that to JF. :up:

Hey tom, we have tried. But im wondering what you mean by "the front subframe"? were trying to get it out of the shock housing where the tierod was, not from the car??!?!

i have a 4lbs sledge hammer, my favorite suspension tool, go buy some shitty metric nuts from your local hardware store and thread it on and give it a good even smack. remember to put a jack under the struthousing next to the balljoint.

Dude, relax...it was just a joke! Sorry if I ruffled your feathers...just a joke.

Having been "busted" at the late night drags a couple of times, I really don't like to hang with that crowd...but the mini-meet would be cool.

It's a shame I am not closer. My tie rod tools allow the use of an air hammer, we could kick your suspensions ass in seconds at my shop.

I have been out of the scene for so long that all I know are the ILLEGAL late night drags. Got busted a couple of times, so I leaned.

Remind me monday, wouldya? If they are the new price, go to Sears...they haven't updated pricing yet, AFAIK. You may want to check Sears' price tomorrow. Under $125, just go for it. I know my new cost is more than that.

I expect the Kinetik to be around $180, new RedTop price should be about $140, new Yellowtop is about $189...bastids!
