PNW Tech day

I traded building an M10 - M20 Wiring adapter for a new input bearing/labor.

That and I had the tranny just sitting there, so it made since to just have it done. When you have put as much money into a car as I have, its nice to save some money every once in awhile!

Hehe, its all good, i'm one to talk, just had a shop do my center support last week :p

2 tranny's without a lift is possible, but it will not be very fun.

Assuming we have several experienced people who can lend a helping hand (IE not just me) we can probably do it, although keep in mind it will be a long day.

I'd rather not have too long of a day ;) Lets keep it to one tranny swap (and it sounds like Derek's may work better since Josh requires special tools for his project ... unless people have them, I don't)

The car I was looking at had the same problem it is completly dead. How much did it cost you for everything. He said it was like 500 so he wanted more for the car. He basically was trying to charge for routin maintnence.

I know that is what I am trying to tell him, you cant change the oil on the car, ad then charge like 30 more for the oil change, you know? If the car needs new brakes you change them , but you cant have a 500$$ car and do 1000 dollar brake job and charge 1500 for the car. Some peopledont know when to keep tacking on the $$$ damn. Oh well TECH day should be fun

ya i heard he is pretty good at electronics and stuff. i will try to get there but i have school coming up (still in highschool) so i dont think i will be able to. is he going to the tech day?

Also, my tranny may be a no go for that day. I fly out early the next morning. Probably not the smartest way to spend the day before heading to India for 3 weeks. Sorry guys. :(

Though James could take my car down there and you guys could swap. Great trade for a rebuildable tranny for the track rat. ;)

well i also have a timing belt and a valve adjustment i have to do sometime, think i can get any of those done in a day?

I don't have the special tools for a valve adjustment, but a timing belt shouldn't be too difficult to do in that time allowed. Just bring something to catch your coolant and haul it off in.

Your alarm shouldn't be an issue to sort out either, bring your wiring diagram for it.
