Im down to come to this. I'll just be doing a couple small things like reaplcing spark plugs, and air filter. I might give me car a wash and wax as well.

How invlolved would it be to change the rear main seal on the motor, along with the tranny input shaft seal and throwout bearing? Doable in one day?

Sound like we'd be pulling 2 trannys that day... might be tough to do. I'll let a more experienced wrencher like James comment on tranny pulling to see if it's doable. I just wish I had a lift, make the job much more fun :D

Looks like I can't make it now. Going on a 3 day camping trip at the base of Mt. Adams.

If you have the correct berring puller then yes its doable... but its gonna be tight.
it took my shop a week to do crivys input berring because be didnt have the correct berring puller for the job.
your also going to need a seal puller for the seals, it looks kinda like a mini slide hammer.

                              I traded building an M10 - M20 Wiring adapter for a new input bearing/labor.

That and I had the tranny just sitting there, so it made since to just have it done. When you have put as much money into a car as I have, its nice to save some money every once in awhile!

2 tranny's without a lift is possible, but it will not be very fun.

Assuming we have several experienced people who can lend a helping hand (IE not just me) we can probably do it, although keep in mind it will be a long day.
