Same size glass and all, right? Would it be better to have mine installed as an M3 windshield?

AFAIK, the dimensions are the same, only the install changed from press fit and gasket to bonded. Suppose to increase rigidity of the chassis for racing..... not sure you'd notice any difference if you swapped out to a bonded windshield ;)Chris

I doubt you would notice any difference. And you cant install regular e30 press fit glass as bonded. You would have to buy the m3 specific glass as well as the trim, plus labor. I doubt its covered under your windshield replacement on your insurance policy to upgrade it as such either. :)sigpicComment
