The flooring is Armstrong vinyl tiles, do not use them if you plan on working on your car. For rolling a car in and out they work fine, but lowering/lifting a car on jacks causes the tiles to shift unless you are really careful. I am torn between replacing the large number of damages ones or just tearing them all out and painting the floor....

you have given me exactly the information i was looking for. i was considering using these tiles [commercial, grocery store type] but now will definitely paint. aircraft hangars are sexy, no?

ducati, i know of a great place to get garage floor paint. ;) seriously though, it is the best.
