I drove this in a Ford Explorer but in an E30 during an off hour it would be a blast. Nice little hill climb. Saw one E30 headed up as I came back down.

Historic highway 242 off of highway 126 out of Eugene

I don't go flying around my neighborhood... I shouldn't of used the term "hot lap." I meant, whenever I'm bored, I just hop in my car and take a lap around my neighborhood. Never going more than 30 mph.

This is my drive to school, only a mile but it's super fun to drive. Elevation change every curve, then the last 4 turns are wide. Fun on rainy mornings :-D

This is also the route I take whenever I decide to go to a hot lap or test things out.

    My commute to work:

Its got tons of elevation change and tight banking curves on the way out of Salem, as well as looong, empty, straights through bright green rolling hills south of Independance. It's as beautiful as it is fun to drive.

And I get to take it home every day from work <3

it is the best. Driving my dads e46 laguna seca M3 around that on a sunny day is the greatest. Can't wait to finish my e30 s52 turbo project to hit that road sideways.

..... you cant see the ocean while in bellevue and driving around the lake..

It's a ways south frome most but my favorite is hwy 242 also knows as the old McKenzie hwy. goes from Eugene to Sister OR? I do the drive with my S2000 group every year. Tons of twistys but it's narrow and depending on when ya go there's some rocks on the road.

    what is my car?

    Well I have a 89 bmw 325 ic.

I drove it around portland aimlessly a lot. The neighborhood we are describing was my neighborhood. from the 24 hour fitness at the williametter river, all the way to sunnyside in clackamas.

I drove an ice cream truck lol. so sunnyside to powell was my range.

ya it goes through a park and I think a bridge even out of nowhere. Theres a canyon and an S in the road.

More than anything it gives you the impression of wtf how did I get here? At the beggining its straight with stop signs. Still, very nice street but ordinary residential. Somehow it hits just a lot of undeveloped lots, a university or two and then one of the funkiest parks, and that part has no shoulder either its like you got stuck on a hotwheel track for a second.
