watch out for cyclists during the day. they ride two abreast and are generally going much slower than most of us are driving when the fuzz aint looking.

yeah, you are right. it's actually residential area. a lot of people hanging out with their dogs when i was driving the other night.

found another good place, interlaken blvd. in capitol hill. narrow, curvy, but kinda short. drove there last night. no cop. i recommend driving slowly first and get familiar. so dark at night and a lot of very sharp turns.

yeah, interlaken is sweet. i drive that all the time. late at night, when dogwalkers are all home, it's a great place to blast around a bit. you can see headlights a couple of turns away, and i've never seen the fuzz in there ever. a lot of the corners are blind both directions, so i like up more than down. since most turns are rights on the way up, you can really hug in the inside curb hard.

theres a little run off hillsboro, takin 20-35 minutes. take shute exit off 26W northbound, and stick to the right always on major intersections. eventually gets you towards skyline blvd , where you can go left adn a mile later have a bunch of hard turns towards 30 or go right anf foillow skyline blvd to cornelius pass rd back to 26, or go down germantown road (busy), old germantown road towards pdx.

(gotta run the gps next time).
lot of S roads, up , down, different surfaces (new, old, torn).

met deer though twice there (met, not hit);-)

Tons of good runs up there, Logie Trail and rocky point are some serious roads to tests your car. I know i hit the limit on my tires alot up there

Favorite drive or not so favorite drive when the craptacular snow seattle had in seattle in december where it shut down the freeways. I left work in tukwila early at 3pm and immeadidly got stuck in ice and traffice, thank god for snow/ice tires. It took me 3 hours to get from tukwila to just past federal way. Once i got through traffic i was flying on the freeway and passing 4x4's on the hills. E30 ftw

It's not a terribly long drive, but I really enjoy Highway 202 from Railroad Ave. In Snoqualmie to the roundabout in Fall City. Twisty, high up, no cops, and very pretty in the summer with the windows down

Swansonwille Road. Connecting Port Ludlow to Port Townsend Hwy 19.

Not one house. And that first corner... SUPER late apex (going west)

I was just reminded of the drive to Leavenworth. Love that one. June 18th this year. Beautiful scenery during that time. Thread will be started when it gets closer.
