Smoky Mountain BMW Rally

Hey, Matt is attending! I will be attending the Official Summer 2010 Mountain BMW Rally, too. My 3rd ride on the Dragon, US129.

On Friday, June 4th at noon, I will be travelling from Cincinnati, down US-75 through Knoxville over to Marysville, Tenneessee. It is below there where the Look Rock campground is. Anyone from the midwest coming? We could caravan... Look for this car!

After selling my e30 and attending the prequel on the triumph, I'm going to try to make it out next weekend. Hopefully I can convince Mattdk to join and might bring some other bikers to escort all the slow Bavarians!

Haha, don't mind the Triumph escort service just wish it hadn't rained on you so much.. You hung in there which was impressive...

Yeah and convince Matt to come back with you.. Tristan has an excuse.. Matt ? He should come back up for another visit !

You tell Matt that Halston said he better bring his ass... I talked to his wifey via facebook and she didn't seem to have a problem with him going.

According to a very reliable source it is 101 miles from Look Rock to Wendy's in Robbinsville via Tellico Plains. Add another 25 or so for the Dragon run. That's one way folks.

I still would like to explore Moonshiner 28 also if we can swing it.

I don't understand. You can't drive it at all? You can't hit it from the other side and just turn around and go back?

You can drive the "Dragon" from the North Carolina side from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM daily. You can't enter or leave from the Tennessee side because of the rock slide.
