My four kids are almost 12, just turned 7, about to turn 6 and then 4 a few months later ;) Mom-in-law lives with us to boot, then the 2 full time jobs and one part time kills social life - but - you have my # ;) If you didn't save it, lemme know I'll text ya.

According to my book, it's .6hrs for the slave line, 4.5 for R&R of trans and installing a clutch/flywheel, 2.1hrs for the driveshaft swap which it has to come out to pull the trans, so figure on that being the pedal installation time (book didn't list the time for the pedals). You are looking at about 7.2-8 hrs shop time.

great so I would budget $800-1000 regardless of who does it. Also realize that by supplying your own parts you have no warranty on the work done. meaning, if they put it all together and it does not work you are paying time to diagnose the problem. That is the reason I pay a few bucks extra, let my mechanic make a few dollars on every part I buy, if something goes wrong it is on him.Brian Jacobs
