I think Townsend it another hour or hour and a half past the Dragon, so I guess I could tell the guy I will see him at about 3 or 4 PM??
Townsend is only about 45 min or so from the Dragon, maybe less. I can tell you how to get there that day if I am able to come. There is a shorter way. Are you looking at an e30 325is??

You can just take foot hills over correct Michael?

I'm ready to go driving, installing my chip tommorow, and hopefully installing some Euro goodies in the afternoon(if my parts come in at the dealership)

Yep, go to the end of Foothills and take a right on 321 instead of left. That takes you right into Townsend.

Has anyone decided if the Chatt. guys are going to meet somewhere and head up together? Or are we all just going to meet up at the Dragon?

Hopefully I'll be there assuming my subframe/trailing arm/end link bushings show up in enough time so that I don't have the car apart through the weekend. I have to go back to school the 18th so I'll have to do it over the weekend if it comes down to it, but we'll see.

They are meeting at exit 11 in Owt. at the Golden gallon(on the left once you get off 75). We are meeting at 7:30 and leaving by 8 a.m. I'll be there. Give me a call when your stuff comes in and I'll bring those tools up and help with the install.

              Roger, I'll be there.

The bushings and stuff showed up today, so hopefully I'll be able to get most of it done this weekend (if not all) even though we have company. I just spent an hour or two trying to get the bushings out of the subframe you gave me. I was using: foot long 1/2" bolt, nut, washer, anvil, vice, and a block of wood. The anvil was to hold the other end of the subframe while working. I ended up getting it to the point where the bolt was slipping out of the vice (as tight as it would go even) and/or the anvil was being pushed by the subframe (~100lbs -- plus the moment arm).
I gave up after deciding any more would end up hurting me, but we have a propane torch so I'll try that tomorrow if I can't find someone local that is open that will press them out/in for me. If you're free tomorrow I'll give you a call if you don't mind helping. I'll at least pull the car apart even if I can't get the bushings done just yet. Oh yeah, if you can come would you bring my angle grinder and nut splitter as well as that puller and jack?

Sunday would probally work best for me, but I may be able to run up tommorow. Just give me a call after around noon. And I can bring that stuff no problem.

May try to tag along with you guys, will have to see.

Just ran it today and it was sweeeeeeet. Chance of rain scared most of the riders off, so it was pretty traffic free.

Nice stretch of road, let me tell ya.

I'm estimating 10 or so cars if Michael H comes. Josh are the guys you know in Chattanooga still going to come?
