I've been spoiled by having a lift to do things like this, but I don't think it would take me very long. I only have one class on tuesday, from 2-3.

How close are you to campus? Think I might be able to limp the car over there with no clutch?

I'm less than 10 minutes from UTK down Middlebrook Pike. You should be able to, just take it easy. I get home from work around 5PM. My wife is home so you can start anytime you want before I get there.

Working under jack stands isn't that bad. But be prepared for isolated rain on Tuesday. I have a few tarps to drape over the car. Just depends on how hardcore you are about getting the repair done and don't smoke a cigarette every 5 minutes like buc_nasty.

Thank you so much, Rob. Looking at the map the drive seems doable. I might see about driving the car there early in the morning if I can find someone to drop me off on campus again so I can avoid traffic, or I'll just leave at 3:00pm.

Now I just need to find a place with a bearing in stock.

I installed new odometer gears and I can't get them to tally mileage. Turning them by hand works, so I'm thinking I need a new sender from the diff.
