Actually the heat is not that bad up there. When we went it was 96 in Knoxville and in the mid 80s at Look Rock.

We may camp there but will stay away during the "heat" of the day..

yeah when I went up there the other day to get the GPS location for anyone who needed it(see the camping thread for info) it was 101 in Townsend according to the outside temp gauge in my truck and was 88 at the campground at look rock and it was at 5-5:30 in the afternoon. So it was the hottest part of the day and really was not to bad up there then

Before people were coming from Up North and Down south to come to this?

AFAIK everyone on the list is coming unless they've removed themselves.

Ely said he most likely has some peeps coming that aren't listed.

BTW everyone.. if you're not going to come and your name is on the list PLEASE repost the list with your name removed. This helps keeps the list current. Especially since I'm buying food.

89 High during the day and 63/62 at night.. perfect camping weather IMO
