Robert, I am gonna try to get up Friday morning as well.. Look for an E30 pulling a trailer.. LOL.. That should be an easy one to spot...

HI guys I ended up running the dragon this morning, got there about 9:45ish, and on the way back threw the cops had shown up so it appears at about 10:30 the start showing up(or at least today they did). They were not bad at all, 3 on the dragon and 2 on 129 by the lake. Only 2 were running radar, and all the times I came up on them doing about 40-45 but slowed back down to 35ish when going by, but they didn't even back an eye. I only saw one motorcycle pulled over and it just looked like the cop was checking his license etc...

A BIG FYI to everyone coming. On the news today they said that state troopers wrote 140 tickets last weekend. They can pull you for no reason now, and most state troopers are dicks around here. Most tickets were written for not having proof of insurance, registration, or not having seatbelts on. There is a seatbelt law in TN. The other top tickets were for people on bikes that did not have DOT approved helmets. So with this many people coming it is safe to bet that some of us will get pulled over for no reason other than to check us out, so be sure to bring all that stuff and have working seatbelts.

Exactly why we are planning on staying away from the dragon during the hours that the cops are out harassing everybody. I know for a fact that they would probably pull me over for no reason as I have roll bar in my car, everything with the car is legal, but still it would give them something to pick about.

depends which way, if coming up I75 to Chattanooga then up towards k-town about 4 hours.
Don't worry we are not planning on running it that fast, It just isn't fun when you have to watch for the cops at every other corner, or when there is heavy traffic. This road is so tight it's VERY hard to go threw it at very high rate of speeds.

That is why I am NOT bringing the M3. I know I could whip through there at dangerous speeds :)

Also I don't see my group getting there till around 8-9pm as my god parents son is a Junior in High School. I pick him up at 3pm. That means 7pm at the earliest

Can someone please pay for my camp site next to everyone and I will bring cash in repayment?

I will actually be showing up Friday morning and plan on relaxing, fishing lakeside, and drinking a little rum & coke till the evening rolls around.

So there is fishing?
