that is true, i am trying to save some $ to get a cage, but might just end up going with a harness bar, anyone know of any good, cheap ones?

I agree, if you have a couple of friends who are cool and won't drive like morons, then by all means invite them. But posting this in another car forum opens all kinds of doors to all kinds of drivers. I for one want to keep my e30 on the road and don't want to see anyone hurt.
It may be a good idea to cap the run with a certain amount of people or organize two staggard runs. If 30+ respond maybe do two even runs 20 minutes apart?

Don't worry. I don't take this kind of thing lightly.

If you recheck the older post you will find where I say if you do anything dumb near me or begin to endanger people I have no problem simply calling your plates. I don't want to be the guy that was driving normal "With a pack of BMWs" and get in trouble because of 1 or 2 people decided to be a douche bag.

If there are people outside of R3V or my friends that I know I will be even more quick to do it.

ok... as far as i know... i am still going... but i wreked my auto today... need to get a trailing arm, swap it, work out the kinks, then i will be ready... so i should be good, wreked it about 1 hour after installing my 4pt harnesses... they work good ;)

I've put this on my calendar. Its been almost 4 years since ive done a BMW mountain drive. man does time fly!
