I would probably be out of an August meet. Too early (only 2 months away) and I have a beach trip planned the 1st week of Sept. I could only do it if it is in mid-late Sept.
Also, I remember our first meet was in August. It was hot and miserable, not to mention the bees were all over our stuff.Comment

Some info for those interested
If we get there before the crowd there a loop in the center with level sites big enough for our group. The sites are a little smaller than Look Rock but the bathrooms are right next door. The nearest store/restaurant/etc. we know of is 25 miles away ; take heed McMuffin Boys. We will need to be pretty much self-contained on this one. The road going in is fairly new so Google and others try to route you up a NPS fire road, not for E30's; don't go there. The road in is 18 miles from US 441 (Cherokee, NC) up the Blue Ridge Parkway; there are signs.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.
That way, if you do criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
It takes hundreds of nuts to hold a car together,
but it takes only one of them to scatter it all over the highway.

I'm flexible; Robert, is there a time you 'could' fit it in? Hate to go without you man.
I Am, Therefore I Think. We can still do the dragon; it's just farther away. But there are also some super roads all around that area. Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.
