So, why not just sell the 318is and buy a 325is and swap the ohsogreat 4.10 LSD in there? Personally, I'd stick with the M42, but if you want a noisy, leaky 12V that's your deal.

I respect your opinion, but I had a 325i and I really want another one, and this is a great deal to be able to do this while still having a car to drive AND being able to build the car with any part I can find I'll cant pass this up

he has an M50 there but I would have to buy it, and I dont have that kind of money at this moment

Automagic 325is's in '89/90 came with 4.10's from the factory.

I'm not a 4.10 fan. Too much shifting and high revs on the highway. 3.73's arent really my cup of tea either. Ride in my 2.93 car sometime. It's not that bad, really.

And TedE30 is right, M42's are great. They handle awesome, and brake much better than the heavier 6-banger cars. But of course, everyone has their opinion.

i gots one of those. but i injected mine with some testosterone and it grew a 3rd pedal. ;-)










and by testosterone, i mean money.
