I'm based in the Triangle, but would be willing to drive for the right shop - I'm looking for a recommendation of a shop for a decent partial restoration type of repaint. I need a little body work done and a repaint in the same color, but overall the car is clean. Let me know - thanks!

Did you ever find anyone when you asked back in 2016? I've gotten two recommendations for Haywood's Auto Body in Indian Trail, NC (suburb of Charlotte), but have not spoken to them yet. They seem to have a great reputation but are not BMW or restoration specialists.

I didn't really, I got a couple of phone numbers but most seemed to be collision shops - which isn't exactly what I'd be looking for here. So wanted to see if the landscape has changed as this time around as I have a better budget saved. I've been trying my luck with reaching out to some of the restoration shops in the area, but most cater to muscle cars - I'd be okay with that, but some seem hesitant to work on a BMW.The BMW 318 is back.
