    Euromeccanica in Mt. Vernon, NY?

I came across this shop online, but haven't heard anything about it, and a search yielded no results.

    Has anyone used them before?

this is what i've heard (quoting another customer):

Mike Shiffer is the New York Chapter BMW CCA's Tips Rep, and his knowledge is vast AND deep, particular on BMWs made in the 20th Century. He is as honest as the day is long. He don't come cheap, but you can be sure it will be done right. His colleagues are great, too!

Hmm. Interesting. I'll have to check them out.

I lived in Westchester for a long time and used Sucic Bros. in Port Chester. Mirko really knows his shit when it comes to E30s. (914) 937-0888

They might do top notch work, but their prices are a bit ridiculous if you ask me. I was quoted $1500 to change a timing belt/water pump/therm. He tried to justify the price saying he would change the drive belts also.

I'm sure they have a ton of experience with all sorts of BMW's, but they aren't guten, and guten charges a whole lot less.
