Thanks to everyone who came out today. That was more fun than i expected and doing it early in the morning def paid off dividends in the end.
I am actually glad it wasnt a big turn out, i think it would have slowed us down in having to wait for other cars. This small group of cars that came out felt like we were a pack of wolves on hunt, lol.
I would def do this again! Anyone who missed out today dont worry, we still have nice weather left for a little while.
Please post any pics you may have taken, i know i tried to take some while driving with my shitty phone so dont judge the skizills!
Edit: Apologies for leaving without a proper goodbye, I thought we were all going to jump on the highway right away. By the time I looked back and saw you guys stay put it was too late. So here's a virtual handshake.
PICS!!
Cesar keeping up in his stock E30. Here's your new sig bro! Ha

Leegf (sorry dude I forgot your name) and his M5 following Frank! You were on me like white on rice on those turns man, I couldn't get you off me for the life of me! Haha. Really nice M5.

Necessary group shot.

Bradley, that Alfa moves really good on the turns. I tried keeping up with you but your car was more agile on the twisties.

The views!

The pack leader on the first leg of the cruise. I dont mind following an Mtech1 vert for a while ;)

great spirited ride this am, thanks for leading the way Frank, great M-tech you've got there... I haven't been on Rt.218(storm king hgwy) in many years and definitely not at that pace, I can see whay they have to close that road in the depths of Winter, it would be treacherous... Heading back to BM on 9W south was mostly uphill and my little 318 was working hard trying to keep up... sorry I could'nt stick around for the 2nd leg of the run, still didn't recover my lost cell phone, thats life.. Anyway enjoyed meeting up with everyone and sharing the morning, look forward to another round....... Here are a few pics I shot........ TomNow on my 26th BMW...Comment

@Drew- No worries man, I was having a blast on the twisties, seeing your M5 in my rearview mirror was pretty cool.
Thanks for posting all these pics, they look great.
@Tom- Although you were the only 4-cyl car there, you still hung in there. Sucks to hear about your phone.Comment

don't remember who i was explaining this to - it might have been frank - but the alfa romeo GTV6 matches up very well with the e30 m20b25 in terms of power and power-to-weight ratio. it's a very well-balanced car on par with the e30 and the porsche 944, which was its main competitor at the time. plus it makes a sound like a goddamn italian muscle car.
anyone who likes the e30 but wants a bit of italian flair would be wise to look into one. prices are about the same, too.
