That's a nice view! Very similar views if we stopped at the cliff at Storm King Rd!! Lots of panoramic opportunities.
BTW I forgot to ask, but did anyone run over anything huge on Storm King Rd? I either drove over a rock or someone dropped a Go-Pro...- Frank

toward the top of the hill? might have been fallen rock. thankfully, i was able to swerve and avoid it, unlike the very first time i took my old e30 there. the car survived, but the oil pan did not
i believe that is why they close that road down after it rains...

Yea had to have been fallen rock. I saw it in time to avoid it.
Is anyone interested in doing this again in september? My wife is due in october so it will be nearly impossible to get away then. If Frank and Bradley (is he on the forum?) can make it to lead the routes again that'd be great. Let me know.Comment

Sure, lets get some dates together or just pick a date and I'll see if I can swing it. Wife wanted to come but she was on-call this past weekend.- Frank

Right now, I'm good with 9/15 or 9/22 Sunday. Also, I'm not sure Bradley posts on r3v, he's more of an italian car guy from how I know him but leegf (Drew) is in contact with him.- Frank

I checked out the Cars & Coffee in Yorktown on Sunday am and it was a pretty good morning cruise-in, of course one of the guys I was talking to said there were a row of BMW's and another of MB's in attendance the previous week.. We were on our morning ride anyway.... Was only about a 45 min ride down for me.... I would recommend it...Now on my 26th BMW...Comment

Tom, how do the cars compare to the NJ c&c? The meets in NJ draw a pretty good crowd, but I feel like each time there are more and more rich guys with expensive exotics that don't really care about cars as much as showing off their new toyI checked out the Cars & Coffee in Yorktown on Sunday am and it was a pretty good morning cruise-in, of course one of the guys I was talking to said there were a row of BMW's and another of MB's in attendance the previous week.. Agreed, I attend the Croissants event regularly in my E30 and I get the same vibe..I just go to admire the cars not the owners.
Let's get a date set...back on track!!:D
9/8 is out for me as I'll be at Bimmerstock with my E30.- Frank
