Question again: re-> ICV on the 318is. I've been looking for a DIY on cleaning the ICV on my car, and can't seem to find one. Have you done it, and if so do you have any tips/tricks/images please? Thanks, John

Sorry, I quoted from your post re: throttle cable replacement. From this thread: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...t=318is&page=5

Was wondering which grommets and bushing I need to fix the part of the car for the pedal area.

Thank you, bought it. Another question if you don't mind:

Here is a pic of the new throttle cable. The design has changed and hard to tell in the picture. You don't need 2 wrenches anymore to adjust, just spind the finger grip to tighten or loosen cable. Also found out issue with stuck throttle, the shaft that connects the bracket to the pedal and bracket to the cable, has has the bushing bearing break off. It cause the shaft to move freeling and the clip to get got. Order the $1.50 grommets and bushing to fix the part of the car for the pedal area.

Do you also have part numbers for the grommets and bushing you mention here? I am replacing my throttle cable

Hi Monty, Do you have a part number for that grey cloth backing piece that goes behind/under the rear bench on the 318is? I need to replace mine, and can't find it in realoem. Thanks again, John

Sup man...I'm new to the E30 scene and noticed you're in Miami as well. Just picked up this beauty a month back...it's a 1990 325iS. I've been working on her these past few weekends and so far I've swapped out a broken door lock cylinder, a blower resistor and am going to swap some bearings this week. It would be cool to know someone local for any projects that require a second set of hands . My wife is cool with me wrenching in the driveway so if you ever need a hand, holler!

Pics of the ride (you can see my former rides in there as well): http://s536.photobucket.com/albums/f...annikattk/e30/

    Take care,
