    TRM OBD1 s52 chip in 413 ecu 235whp 221 wtq

    I am selling my tune (going turbo). This is a TRM tune mounted in a red label 413 ecu, plug and play. Tune is for an OBD1 S52, 91 octane, 7k rev limit, stock pink injectors, stock MAF and a lightweight flywheel (this only raises the idle slightly). My car made 235 whp and 221 wtq with this chip at a Horsepower Freaks dyno day which was the most by far out of any of the five s52 cars there that day. Retail on the chip is $250 + shipping, the ecus go for about $80. Save over $100 and get a known powerful tune.

    SOLD. Cash or paypal.

    Would this work on a S50 since its the same 413 red label?

      Its not 100% ideal, but I ran a S50 tune on my M52 with S52 cams and it was good. I wouldnt hesitate. The TRM tunes are great

        Couldn't have said it better, the engines are very close and so are the tunes.

          Did you reprint the label on that chip? Just wondering because I've had quite a few Turner chips including the same chip your selling and none of them had labels printed like that.

            It's not a Turner Motorsport/Jim Conforti chip, but rather TRM Tuning. So different companies :)

              Not a Turner chip, this a a TRM chip and I personally bought it brand new so it is definitely genuine.

                    I believe it is only raised 100rpm over stock. I use an M3 cluster with the wrong coding plug so I can't tell you for certain what RPM it idles at.

                      Ok what weight flywheel were you using then? S52 flywheel correct?

                        I was using a UUC aluminum which was probably 9lbs, then switched to a steel single mass when I changed to a different clutch setup.

                              Interested - would you consider shipping to Aus? If so;

                              Did you find the extra +100rpm was sufficient for your LW FW?

                              I'll be running a similar set-up (M52 w M54B30 crank, S52 cams) but with a RHD Alu FW @~7lbs, so a bit lighter again, hence I assume keeping the car running at idle may need a few extra turns at the crank.

                              Does this tune make an allowance for M50 manifold conversion? Still running pink top injectors.
                              Also, excuse the ignorance on non-Euro engines, but what size is the 'stock' MAF on S52s? 3.5"?
