if your bores are scored you'll need to hog it out
i did that to the s50 block i got, but it needed it and stock s52 pistons sounded better to me than oversize s50 ones.
now i can run a s52 ob2 tune cause the engine is basically a s52.
this is all theoretical because i still have to drop it in the car.

Hey Danny, glad to see you around. I still have the rare/OEM E30 rear all-season floor-mats that you helped me get while you were at BMW Concord that one time and they live on in my new E30 shell.
Side-note, making a little "homecoming" next Monday with my E30. Hasn't been in the Bay Area since New Years. Taking it home, then to Yosemite and sleeping in it.
