M20 single tooth cam sensor input

I searched everywhere and I cannot find any definitive information on how to setup a single tooth m50 cam sensor on my m20 in megasquirt... on the DIY Autotune website it states to make the angle 360° from the tooth #1 angle. I cannot understand what that means exactly. I am trying to use it on MS3x.

What it wants is cam position information. Which they are saying to
get from the distributor, which makes good sense.
The 360 degrees is crank degrees, so it's really just saying to set the index pin
for the sensor 180 CAM degrees before top dead center, then delay it in tunerstudio.

Or something like that. I last played with Megasquirt before it had numbers after it, tho...
