Anyone know somewhere to get cams polished? Cams in the head of my e36 were sitting a while and developed a bit of surface rust. Hoping to resurect them. Im guessing if a shop can polish a crank they could also do a cam?

Clean it with Naval Jelly, and then if you have a bench grinder, go to the store and buy a polishing wheel, and buff the cam in your garage.

Anybody got tips on somehow getting the fuel pump sock into the fuel tank without it coming off? Ive been at this for at least a couple hours lol.

What up guys! Definitely been a while. I'm back in an e30, a 1991 sterling silver 318i w 115k, after going astray with a couple of other cars and I wanted to get some input from ya'll. The car is near perfect, but me being a stickler I want the paint to be 110%.

Any good affordable shops in the OC/LA area that'll do an excellent job and not break the bank? I'm looking to spend anywhere between 1-2k for a solid job. Any solid leads would be much appreciated as I don't wanna call shop after shop and I value the community's word over yelp!
