Just as the title states. Looking at stepping up the tire size, and want to get a good idea of how they look.

my car is on 225/50/16 potenza re11s. wheels are 16x8 +15. these tires are bigger than a standard 225 for sure, probably more like a 235 or 245 in a normal all season tire. i'm assuming direzzas would be the same. even with a roll and slight pull they rub the fender wells at full lock up front and rub in the rear when compressed. with the power level of a stock m20 and stock suspension (except vogtland springs) i can throw my car into pretty much any corner at any speed and it will just go. these tires are exceptionally grippy when they're warm
also, these tires are a fair bit cheaper than the direzzas and got roughly the same reviews on tire rack. i am definitely happy with them, but i've never owned zIIs to compare

Uuuuuhh, RE11's don't come in 225/45/16. I know because i would be running them if they did.

I'm running 225/45 Falkens on 16" wheels. As you probably know, tire width varies between manufacturers and styles. In my opinion, the Falkens are slightly too narrow. My next tire will be a wider 225 or perhaps I will wake up to a miracle and someone will make a 235/45 street tire.
205/50's on the left, 225/45s on the right on 8" wheels.

@MC. IMHO, that is the best suspension set for E30. Perfect wheel size and tire size. Not too big, not too small. Any rub? Fender roll? What CAB's are you running? Can you roll lock to lock with no problems? Is the car lowered?
Sorry about all the questions. Your car is gorgeous. Thanks in advance for your feedback.
