    DIY on Brake Proportioning Valve?

I want to install a Wilwood brake prop valve. Been looking around but cant find a writeup. I am going to keep ABS and try to get this valve on the front driver side fender connected on the rear brake lines. Any writeups or advice? I dont want to do this incorrectly.

I will start with the observation that,
if you have ABS, you do not need a valve. ABS
    will fix your rear lockup.

    That said:

I put a valve down low on the inner rocker panel,
in the cabin just in front of the driver's seat,
and rerouted the lines up and back down
through the floor. 2 new pieces
of brake line, and it's easy to adjust on the fly.

Keeping it lower is better for bleeding, too,
    I've found.
