New TV. Buy right before or right after Xmas?

I need to get a new TV for my apt and want to know if I should buy it right before X-mas or right after X-mas...



On another note, any ideas/reviews on some good LCD's 37"-42"?

I ended up with an LG 42LB5D 42" 1080p LCD. I love it. It was an open box deal at Circuit City, so I just went with it. When I got home, I saw the reviews were all good. I love it. I also got a stand that matches perfectly at Wal-Mart for $90.

I can't give any product reviews since I don't own a LCD tv. However, post Christmas sales are usually a great time to do some bargain hunting depending on the item in question. I plan on hitting the mall a day or two after the holiday and get a few needed items. Check online sources such as Overstock and newegg too.
