    Daytona Violet IX 2.8l turbo

Some of you will recognize my car, as it was originally owned by a fellow R3V member who did a great job of restoring it and painting it Daytona violet. I bought the car in May and have since bought nearly every part I need to complete the build. Right now I have the engine out and 90% of the parts needed for this build. I am closing on my house next week and will be able to start building the motor. I will be documenting every step from here on to help any others learn from my mistakes. Right now I'll just start with my projected build and what parts I have on hand.

    Motor:m20b25 stroked to 2.8l
    M52 crank shaft 84mm
    Eta rods 130mm
    Stock I pistons
    Bimmerheads race head
    Nuke timing gear
    ARP head studs
    ARP main studs
    ARP rod bolts
    Kamotors canyon crusher turbo kit
    UUC M5 CLUTCH AND FLYWHEEL
CONDOR SPEED SHOP BUSHINGS AND MOUNTS
    RTD Shifter
    Finland fix front driveshaft extension
MRT cam sensor and distributor delete
    Whodwho megasquirt
Innovate motorsport scg1 wideband, oil temp/pressure/ water/voltage gauges
    Esm009r and falken azenis
    Wasted spark setup
    Generic catch can setup
    Synapse synchronic bov
    Ground control coilovers
    Koni sports
    Ground control camber plates
    NRG 300 fixed back seats
    Racequip purple 5 point harness
    Planted seat brackets

I know I'm forgetting some of the smaller items like gasket sets and hardware, I have everything packed but I'll keep this list updated as I install parts and buy the rest of the stuff like a meth injection kit and the suspension parts. Like to thank everyone here that helped me get this far. And yes I have already bought a spare front diff

Edit: parts list March 24 2018

Ok so this should start moving forward now. I closed on my house finished the updates and cleaning we wanted to do. Got my car moved into the barn at the new house and the machine shop FINALLY finished my crankshaft. I'm finding a different machine shop for the orings and other block work since the one I went to lied to me constantly and took 4 months to grind polish and balance my crankshaft. I may start making videos on this build and my other project a 1991 jeep grand wagoneer along my daily 2008 vw r32.

let me know how those Condor mounts work out for you. The Transfer case mount they make is, well... questionable. I couldn't get mine to work without getting a longer bolt, and the mount isn't threaded like the OE mounts, so the connection to your chassis is questionable as well.

I'm curious if someone else has a different opinion on it.

Hmmm, I will definitely let you know how it goes. What size bolt did you go with? Any noticeable adverse effects?
