Not weird at all. 325is is 325i + some options. It's not a separate model.

This is how it should be

yeah there has to be a typo. I'm like, 200,000 ix's? what? that directly conflicts with the production data.. now that you shifted it to the right it makes WAY more sense!

BTW I think these are production years, not model years.

Yeah - the chart makes way more sense after you shift it right. Was there continuous 318i production though? I'm guessing that column has M10s and M42s in there? Possibly M40s and M43s? This thing could get complicated...

BMW made the first red e30 m3 in 1985. BMW owns it.

Major formatting fuckup on the publisher's part. In case some of you aren't getting it still, this is the corrected chart, makes much more sense:

And on that note, only 1603 '91-build 325i? Divide that by coupe and having Sport package, and Calypso, it seems my car is a tad more rare than I than I would have expected. I keep forgetting E36 was already available in Yurp for '91 MY.

Do they consider the convertibles a package/option? It would be cool to see the distribution of auto's, manual's, Convertibles, 4 doors, coupes, etc.

Cabrio and touring were on the second chart, I see no breakdown between 4dr/2dr or any other options.

What does SKD stand for on the far right of the first chart?
