It doesn't matter if they came out of an M3. Those are vert seats. The biggest indicators are the length and location of the levers, that tilt the seats forward. They are both wrong in location and length.

I'll let the pics speak for themselves. The first pic is of the seats you're selling(vert). The other seats, are actually M3 seats. The M3 seat levers are stubby, and are located a lot lower on the seats when compared to vert seats.

It’s obvious that some of you are clueless about the difference between vert and coupe seats. These are M3 seats. Here are some examples of EAG’s $200k M3 with vert (j/k) front seats, haha.

In all honesty, though, you could easily put coupe backs and levers on them and they would be correct for an m3, that's what m30 owners have been doing for years since they want the original horizontal stitching.Comment

Just because they are on the car 30 years later, doesn't mean they are correct. Read my previous post. The backs are different, but interchange. The m3 came with horizontal stitching and people swapped them out over the years as they have worn. It’s obvious that some of you are clueless about the difference between vert and coupe seats. ....to add. Think about it. Why would BMW use those long levers in a coupe where they would catch the seat belts? The vert belts go over the top of the lopped off b-pillar, so there's a ton more access up high. The coupe seat levers are tucked away behind the big vert trim when installed in a vert.Comment

I know what parts of the seat are interchangeable. Also, vert seats don’t recline as low as m3 seats. I think it is unfair that you jumped into conclusion that these are vert seats right off the bat by just the outside pictures.Just because they are on the car 30 years later, doesn't mean they are correct. Why don’t you email BMW? Might as well also ask BMW why they didn’t have red needles on the reg e30 dials too.....to add. Think about it.
