For minisplit, I kinda ballparked the size - my garage is 560sqft but has 10' ceilings and kind of shit insulation so I wasn't super sure a 12k BTU unit would cut it to heat, but was quoted for 500-750sqft... -

I have never had a grinder fail violently, or even blew up a cutoff disk, but I did kill the motor in one. I love me a $25 angle grinder, but I have a reasonably cheap cordless ryobi that has been good...Leave a comment:

Both E30s I owned that were truly drivable had the wires snap at the diff connector. Some combo of strain and corrosion where the wire entered the moulded pin.

Main reason I say XC90 is that the SPA gen started 2 years earlier, and there seem (or seemed at the time I bought mine) to be more options, cheaper, and usually spec'd well.

I messed around with a Mann Pro-vent 200 to connect to the valve cover, dipstick, and pre-turbo. I didn't like how much oil was sent by the Pro-vent and ended up binning that setup and venting to atmosphere...Leave a comment:

I like the XC70 idea.
I'm biased toward the SPA cars though... and the 2017-2020 XC90s are still a bargain. I'd include the 2016, but they have piston ring issues, maybe ones that have been repaired...Leave a comment:
