Are you going to color match that lip or paint the rockers back to black?

Needs Chrome Kidneys and it would be damn near perfect. Are those Ix weaves?

I'm thinking color match, as soon as I can score some IS side skirts. The problem so far is that the lip has only been on for a week, and i've already scraped it twice, so i'm afraid it'll just get demolished as soon as I paint it

chrome kidneys will be on their way at some point - the black is a little much, I agree. The wheels are euroweaves, not IX's.

I found about 5 types of 3m compound at the local pepboys, and they all basically said the same thing - rubbing compound! I bought the smallest, most expensive little bottle I could find, and hoped it would work. I know the good stuff is supposedly only available to pro body shops, but i'm not sure what the name actually is. As for process, I claybar'd the whole car using a maguire's kit, then rubbing compound on microfiber towels, then some swirl-x, just because I had it laying around (couldn't hurt!), and then a quick wax. I'm thinking I should have polished as well - i'm not yet happy with the finish.

Thanks! pics are within a couple blocks of my apt in Los Feliz/Griffith Park area. I was trying to diagnose a hot-start problem (fixed!) and had my camera along so thought might as well snap a few :)

I'm an idiot - I traded the wheels for some staggered 16" ESM 002s today, and I miss the euroweaves already!

I'm thinking I need to find some fill and drill 16" style 5s instead. Anyone know if Fill and Drills are track-safe, or is that asking for trouble?

Nice! There seem to be a lot of e30 enthusiasts in these parts.
Out of curiosity, do you know anywhere/anyone on this side of town where I might be able to borrow/rent some lift time? I can't do anything in my stupid apartment parking area, and need to do some basic maintenance. Ugh.
The manager would have a coniption fit if she saw me dropping my oil pan!
