my 2.5L showed higher numbers with less restriction, I have long tube headers into a 3" collector back to a supertrapp with a 6" out. We did multiple pulls adding more plates to reduce back pressure till we eventually just removed all the plates. Made most power with no plates at all. With that said the difference was minimal, just a few HP, but I'll take them. This is a full race set up and you dont want to know how loud it is.

also with the exhaust are you using the magnaflow 14815 muffler? i plan on having a custom exhaust made and was going to use that with the 2.5" also i was looking at the numbers on your dyno sheets did the power actually decrease whe you used your induction system and the free flow exhaust?
There is a group buy for our normal maf systems going on over on bimmer forums right now, but the new induction kit won't be eligible for group buys yet. It's already going to be reduced for it's release.
The power dropped off when the exhaust was installed with our normal maf and stock intake. With a retune, the power was made back and then some.

This induction kit is going to include:
Miller MAF GENIII
True Cold Air Intake
and WAR Chip
all for ~$599?

- Miller ProStreet Induction tube
- GENiii RACE MAF sensor
- High flow cone filter
- rubber coupler with ICV port
- ProStreet Induction software
- Aluminum Splash Shield
Here are some pictures of the installation on a customers car (the silver one in the video) He is still using the M20 Throttle body here. Eventually, when our adapters are ready, he will switch to an M30 throttle body.
Here is a picture showing the Aluminum splash shield. These will be powder coated black for production.
Here is a picture to show fitment with the fog light still in place. If you want, you can even modify the brake duct to still fit.
Here is the before and after dyno with Alex's car. Before we did the base line, he changed his oil and spark plugs as well as put a clean filter in the box.

If you buy our maf o the new induction kit, you don't need the WAR chip, the software would just come on a traditional chip.
I will get the link up when I get back to an actual computer.

You could offset the cost for sure as there are always people looking for a bit of a deal.
